तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि । धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥

tát savitúr váreṇyaṃ bhárgo devásya dhīmahi | dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt ||

സവിതൃദേവന്റെ ഏറ്റവും ശ്രേഷ്ഠവും വരണീയവുമായ തേജസ്സായ ഭർഗ്ഗത്തെ ഞങ്ങൾ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ധിയുകളെ—അന്തര്ദൃഷ്ടിയും വിവേകവും—പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ടു നയിക്കട്ടെ.
