गम्भीराँ उदधीँरिव क्रतुं पुष्यसि गा इव । प्र सुगोपा यवसं धेनवो यथा ह्रदं कुल्या इवाशत ॥
gambhīrā́m̐ udadhī́m̐r iva krátuṁ puṣyasi gā́ iva | prá su-gopā́ yávasaṁ dhenávo yáthā hradáṁ kulyā́ iva ā́śata ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, സമുദ്രങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഗംഭീരമായ ക്രതു (കർമ്മശക്തി/സങ്കൽപം) നീ പോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; പ്രകാശമുള്ള ഗോവൃന്ദത്തെ പോറ്റുന്നതുപോലെ. സുഗോപാ—നന്നായി കാവലുള്ള—വർദ്ധനയുടെ പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നു; പാലുതരുന്ന പശുക്കൾ മേച്ചിലിലേക്ക് ഓടുന്നതുപോലെ, ചാലുകൾ തടാകത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകുന്നതുപോലെ.
