प्र दीधितिर्विश्ववारा जिगाति होतारमिळः प्रथमं यजध्यै । अच्छा नमोभिर्वृषभं वन्दध्यै स देवान्यक्षदिषितो यजीयान् ॥
prá dī́dhitir viśvá-vārā jigāti hótāram iḷáḥ prathamáṃ yájadhyai | ácchā námo-bhir vṛṣabháṃ vandádhyai sá devā́ny ákṣad iṣitó yajī́yān ||
വിശ്വവാര (എല്ലാ വരങ്ങളാലും സമൃദ്ധ) ദീധിതി—പ്രകാശമയ പ്രചോദനം—മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നു, യജനത്തിനായി ആദ്യ പുരോഹിതനായ ഹോതൃവിലേയ്ക്ക്. നമസ്കാരങ്ങളോടെ അത് വൃഷഭനെ (ബലവാനെ) വന്ദിക്കാൻ എത്തുന്നു; പ്രേരിതനും യജ്ഞാർഹരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനുമായ അവൻ ദേവന്മാർക്ക് യജനമർപ്പിച്ചു.
