Sukta 3.30
उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥
úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, രക്ഷസ്സിനെ വേരുൾപ്പെടെ പിഴുതെറിയുക; അതിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യം വെട്ടിമാറ്റുക, അതിന്റെ അഗ്രം ഛേദിക്കുക. നീ കൃപണനെയും വക്രനെയും അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു; ബ്രഹ്മദ്വേഷിക്കെതിരെ നീ തപസ്-തേജസ്സാൽ ദഹിക്കുന്ന ഹേതിയെ—മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ധാരയെ—അവന്റെ നാശത്തിനായി ഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
