Sukta 3.30
सं घोषः शृण्वेऽवमैरमित्रैर्जही न्येष्वशनिं तपिष्ठाम् । वृश्चेमधस्ताद्वि रुजा सहस्व जहि रक्षो मघवन्रन्धयस्व ॥
sáṃ ghóṣaḥ śṛṇve avamáir amítrair jahī́ ny èṣv aśániṃ tápiṣṭhām | vṛścem adhástād ví rujā sáhasva jahí rákṣo maghavan randháyasva ||
താഴെയുള്ള ശത്രുബലങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന ഘോഷം ഞാൻ കേൾക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര, അവരെ സംഹരിക്ക—അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്റെ അതിദഹനമായ അശനി (വജ്രം) പതിപ്പിക്ക. താഴെ നിന്നു അവരെ മുറിച്ചെറിയുക, അവരെ പിളർത്തി തകർക്കുക; ബലത്തോടെ ജയിക്കുക. ഹേ മഘവൻ, രക്ഷസ്സിനെ വധിച്ച് തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവരെ അധീനരാക്കുക.
