दिदृक्षन्त उषसो यामन्नक्तोर्विवस्वत्या महि चित्रमनीकम् । विश्वे जानन्ति महिना यदागादिन्द्रस्य कर्म सुकृता पुरूणि ॥
didṛ́kṣanta uṣáso yā́mann aktór vivásvatyā máhi citrám anī́kam | víśve jānanti mahinā́ yad ā́gād índrasya kárma sukṛ́tā purū́ṇi ||
ദർശനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഉഷസ്സുകൾ, രാത്രിയുടെ യാമത്തിൽ, വിവസ്വാന്റെ മഹത്തായ ചിത്രമയ മുഖത്തെ നോക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ എല്ലാവരും അവൻ വന്നെത്തിയെന്നു അറിയുന്നു—ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ അനേകം സുകൃത കർമങ്ങൾ, ആത്മാവിൽ വിജയംപോലെ രൂപപ്പെട്ട അവന്റെ ബഹുവിധ നിർമ്മിതികൾ.
