अग्ने वृधान आहुतिं पुरोळाशं जातवेदः । जुषस्व तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥

ágné vṛdhāná āhútiṃ puroḷā́śaṃ jātavedāḥ | juṣásva tiró-ahnyam ||

ഹേ അഗ്നേ, വർദ്ധിമാനനേ, ഹേ ജാതവേദസേ, അർപ്പിച്ച ആഹുതി—പുരോൾാശം (യജ്ഞകേക്ക്)—പ്രസാദത്തോടെ സ്വീകരിക്കണമേ; തിരോഅഹ്ന്യമായ ഈ അർപ്പണം സ്വീകരിക്കണമേ, അത് നമ്മെ സാധാരണ ദിനത്തിന്റെ പരിധി കടത്തി പവിത്രമായ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു നയിക്കുന്നു.
