Sukta 3.20
अग्ने त्री ते वाजिना त्री षधस्था तिस्रस्ते जिह्वा ऋतजात पूर्वीः । तिस्र उ ते तन्वो देववातास्ताभिर्नः पाहि गिरो अप्रयुच्छन् ॥
agne trī́ te vā́jinā trī́ ṣadhásthā tisrás te jihvā́ ṛtajāta pūrvī́ḥ | tisrá u te tanvò devávātās tā́bhir naḥ pāhi gíro áprayucchan ||
അഗ്നേ, നിനക്കു മൂന്നു വാജിന (സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ ശക്തികൾ) ഉണ്ട്; മൂന്നു നിന്റെ സ്ഥാപിതാസനങ്ങൾ (ഷധസ്ഥാ) ഉണ്ട്; ഋതജാതനേ, നിന്റെ മൂന്നു ജിഹ്വകൾ—സത്യത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ചവ, പ്രവർത്തിയിൽ പുരാതനവ. നിന്റെ മൂന്നു തനുക്കൾ ദേവവാത (ദേവശ്വാസം കൊണ്ടു ചലിക്കുന്ന) ആകുന്നു; അവയാൽ ഞങ്ങളെ കാക്കണമേ—ഞങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ (ഗിരഃ) അപ്രയുച്ഛൻ, ഒരിക്കലും ക്ഷയിക്കാതെയും പാതയിൽ നിന്നു വഴുതാതെയും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
