समज्र्या पर्वत्या वसूनि दासा वृत्राण्यार्या जिगेथ । शूर इव धृष्णुश्च्यवनो जनानां त्वमग्ने पृतनायूँरभि ष्याः ॥

Transliteration

sám ajryā́ parvatyā́ vasū́ni dā́sā vṛtrā́ṇy ā́ryā jigetha | śū́ra iva dhṛṣṇúś cyávanā jánānāṃ tvám agne pṛtanāyū́ṃr abhí syāḥ ||

Translation

സമജ്ര്യാ—വേഗഗാമിയും പർവ്വതസമമായ ദൃഢബലവും കൊണ്ട്—നീ വസൂനി (ധനസമ്പത്ത്) നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ആര്യൻ ദാസന്റെ വൃത്രാണി (തടസ്സശക്തികൾ) ജയിച്ചു. ശൂരനെപ്പോലെ ധൃഷ്ണുവും അചലനും ആയി മനുഷ്യരിൽ, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നീ പൃതനായൂൻ—യുദ്ധസേനകളെ—അഭി ഷ്യാഃ, അതായത് കീഴടക്കുന്നവനാകുക.
