कथा कविस्तुवीरवान्कया गिरा बृहस्पतिर्वावृधते सुवृक्तिभिः । अज एकपात्सुहवेभिॠक्वभिरहिः शृणोतु बुध्न्यो हवीमनि ॥

Transliteration

kathā́ kavís tuvīrávān káyā girā́ bृहáspátir vāvṛdhate suvṛ́ktibhiḥ | ajá ékapāt suhávebhir ṛ́kvabhir áhíḥ śṛṇotu budhnyò havī́mani ||

Translation

എങ്ങനെ—ഏത് വാക്കുകൊണ്ട്—മഹാവീരനായ കവി ബൃഹസ്പതി സുവക്തികളാൽ വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നു? സുഖവമായി ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഋക്വഗായകരോടൊപ്പം അജ ഏകപാത് കേൾക്കട്ടെ; ആഴത്തിന്റെ അഹിയായ ബുധ്ന്യൻ ഹവിയുടെ വേളയിൽ ശ്രവിക്കട്ടെ.
