Sukta 10.42
गोभिष्टरेमामतिं दुरेवां यवेन क्षुधं पुरुहूत विश्वाम् । वयं राजभिः प्रथमा धनान्यस्माकेन वृजनेना जयेम ॥
góbhiṣ ṭaremā́matiṃ durévāṃ yávena kṣúdhaṃ puruhūta víśvām | vayáṃ rā́jabhiḥ prathamā́ dhánāny asmā́kena vṛjánenā jayema ||
ഗോ-കിരണങ്ങളാൽ (ഗോഭിഃ) വഴിതെറ്റിക്കുന്ന ദുർമതിയെ നാം കടന്നുപോകട്ടെ; യവം—പോഷണശക്തി—കൊണ്ട്, ഹേ പലവട്ടം വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഇന്ദ്രാ, എല്ലാ വിശപ്പിനെയും നാം അതിക്രമിക്കട്ടെ. രാജശക്തികൾ (രാജഭിഃ) കൂട്ടാളികളായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, നാം അഗ്രധനങ്ങളെ ജയിക്കട്ടെ; നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം വ്രജന (സംഘബലം/ക്രമം)കൊണ്ട് വിജയം നേടട്ടെ.
