Sukta 10.30
तं सिन्धवो मत्सरमिन्द्रपानमूर्मिं प्र हेत य उभे इयर्ति । मदच्युतमौशानं नभोजां परि त्रितन्तुं विचरन्तमुत्सम् ॥
táṃ síndhavo matsarám indra-pā́nam ū́rmiṃ prá heta yá ubhé íyarti | madá-cyutam auśā́naṃ nabhó-jāṃ pári tri-tántuṃ vi-cárantam ú́tsam ||
ഹേ സിന്ധവഃ (നദികളേ), ആ മത്സര (മദകരമായ) ഊർമിയെ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുവിൻ—ഇന്ദ്രപാനം (ഇന്ദ്രൻ പാനം ചെയ്ത) അത് ഉഭയ ലോകങ്ങളിലും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. മദച്യുതം (ആനന്ദരസം ചോരുന്ന), ഔശാനം (ഉഷ്ണ/പ്രചണ്ഡ) നഭോജം (മേഘജന്യം) ആയ ആ ഉത്സം ത്രിതന്തു (ത്രിഗുണ സൂത്ര)ത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വിശാലമായി വിചരിക്കുന്നു.
