Sukta 10.28
एवा हि मां तवसं वर्धयन्ति दिवश्चिन्मे बृहत उत्तरा धूः । पुरू सहस्रा नि शिशामि साकमशत्रंम हि मा जनिता जजान ॥
evā́ hí māṃ tavásaṃ vardháyanti diváś cit mé bṛhatá úttarā dhū́ḥ | purū́ sahásrā ní śiśāmi sākám aśátruṃ hí mā janitā́ jajā́na ||
ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ എന്നെ ബലത്തിൽ വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ദ്യൗ (ആകാശം) പോലും അതിക്രമിച്ച് എന്റെ മഹത്തായ ഉയരങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്. അനേകം സഹസ്രങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ ഒരുമിച്ച് യോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നു/സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നു; കാരണം എന്റെ ജനിതാ (ജന്മദാതാവ്) എന്നെ അശത്ര (ശത്രുവില്ലാത്ത)വനായി ജനിപ്പിച്ചു—എന്നെ അപ്രതിഹത ശക്തിയായി ആക്കി.
