याः सरूपा विरूपा एकरूपा यासामग्निरिष्ट्या नामानि वेद । या अङ्गिरसस्तपसेह चक्रुस्ताभ्यः पर्जन्य महि शर्म यच्छ ॥
yā́ḥ sarū́pā vírūpā ékarūpā yā́sām agnír iṣṭyā́ nā́māni véda | yā́ aṅgírasaḥ tápasehá cakrúṣ tā́bhyaḥ parjánya máhi śárma yaccha ||
രൂപത്തിൽ സമാനങ്ങളായും, വ്യത്യസ്തരൂപങ്ങളായും, ഒരേ മൂലരൂപമുള്ളവയായും ഉള്ള ആ ഔഷധികൾ—യജ്ഞവിധിയാൽ അവയുടെ നാമങ്ങൾ അഗ്നി അറിയുന്നു; അങ്ഗിരസ ഋഷികൾ ഇവിടെ തപസ്സാൽ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ അവയ്ക്കു—ഹേ പർജന്യ, മഹത്തായ ശർമം, അഭയാശ്രയമായ ശാന്തി നൽകുക.
