Sukta 10.16
यो अग्निः क्रव्यात्प्रविवेश वो गृहमिमं पश्यन्नितरं जातवेदसम् । तं हरामि पितृयज्ञाय देवं स घर्ममिन्वात्परमे सधस्थे ॥
yo a॒gniḥ kravya-at pra-viveśa vo gṛham imam paśyann itaram jāta-vedasam | taṃ harāmi pitṛ-yajñāya devaṃ sa gharmam invāt parame sadha-sthe ||
ക്രവ്യാദ രൂപത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച അഗ്നി—മറ്റേ ജാതവേദസിനെ നോക്കി, സർവ്വജന്മജ്ഞൻ—ആ ദേവനെ ഞാൻ പിതൃയജ്ഞത്തിനായി വേർതിരിക്കുന്നു. പരമ സധസ്ഥത്തിൽ അവൻ ഉഷ്മാവും പരിപാകവും ഉണർത്തട്ടെ.
