दीर्घं ह्यङ्कुशं यथा शक्तिं बिभर्षि मन्तुमः । पूर्वेण मघवन्पदाजो वयां यथा यमो देवी जनित्र्यजीजनद्भद्रा जनित्र्यजीजनत् ॥
dīrgháṃ hí aṅkuśáṃ yáthā śáktiṃ bíbharṣi mantu-maḥ | pūrvéṇa maghavan padā́jó vayā́ṃ yáthā yamó devī́ janítrī ajī́janad bhadrā́ janítrī ajī́janat ||
ദീർഘമായ അങ്കുശം ഒരുവൻ പിടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഹേ മന്തുമഃ—പ്രജ്ഞാശക്തിയേ—നീ ദിശ നയിക്കുന്ന ഫലപ്രദമായ ശക്തിയെ ധരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ മഘവൻ—ദാനവീരാ—പൂർവ്വികരുടെ പാതയിൽ, യമൻ ഒരിക്കൽ വഴി സ്ഥാപിച്ചതുപോലെ, ഞങ്ങൾ അചഞ്ചല പ്രേരണയോടെ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങട്ടെ. ദേവി—ഭദ്രാ ജനിത്രി, ശുഭജനനി—ശുഭജന്മം ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; ഭദ്രാ ജനിത്രി ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.
