अव स्वेदा इवाभितो विष्वक्पतन्तु दिद्यवः । दूर्वाया इव तन्तवो व्यस्मदेतु दुर्मतिर्देवी जनित्र्यजीजनद्भद्रा जनित्र्यजीजनत् ॥
áva svedā́ ivābhíto víṣvak patantu didyávaḥ | dū́rvāyā iva tántavo ví asmád etu durmatír devī́ janitrī́ ajījanad bhadrā́ janitrī́ ajījanat ||
വിയർപ്പ് തട്ടി കളയുന്നതുപോലെ, മിന്നുന്ന അമ്പുകൾ എല്ലാദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും അകന്നു പറന്നുപോകട്ടെ. ദൂർവാ പുല്ലിന്റെ പരക്കുന്ന നൂലിഴകളെപ്പോലെ, ദുർമതി—കുചിന്ത—ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നു ചിതറിപ്പോകട്ടെ. കാരണം ദേവി—ഭദ്രാ ജനിത്രി, ശുഭജനനി—നിന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; ഭദ്രാ ജനിത്രി നിന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.
