मूर्धा दिवो नाभिरग्निः पृथिव्या अथाभवदरती रोदस्योः । तं त्वा देवासोऽजनयन्त देवं वैश्वानर ज्योतिरिदार्याय ॥
mūrdhā́ divó nā́bhir agníḥ pṛthivyā́ áthābhavad aratíḥ ródasyoḥ | táṃ tvā devā́so 'janayanta deváṃ vaiśvā́nara jyótir íd ā́ryāya ||
അഗ്നി ദ്യൗവിന്റെ ശിരസ്സും പൃഥിവിയുടെ നാഭിയും ആയി; പിന്നെ അവൻ രണ്ടു ലോകങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ സജീവ ഗതിയായി നിലകൊണ്ടു. ദേവന്മാർ നിന്നെ ദേവനായി ജനിപ്പിച്ചു, ഹേ വൈശ്വാനര—ആര്യനുവേണ്ടി നീ സത്യമായും ജ്യോതി ആകുന്നു.
