ऊर्ध्व ऊ षु ण ऊतये तिष्ठा देवो न सविता । ऊर्ध्वो वाजस्य सनिता यदञ्जिभिर्वाघद्भिर्विह्वयामहे ॥
Transliteration
ūrdhvá ū́ ṣú ṇa ūtáye tíṣṭha devó ná savitā́ | ūrdhvó vā́jasya sánitā yád añjíbhir vā́ghadbhir vi-hváyāmahe ||
Translation
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഊതി—രക്ഷ/സഹായം—ക്കായി, ഉയർത്തുന്ന ദേവനായ സവിതൃനെപ്പോലെ, ഊർധ്വമായി നില്ക്കുക. ഞങ്ങൾ ഉത്സുകമായ കൈകളാലും സ്തുതി-ഗാനങ്ങളാലും നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തുമ്പോൾ, വാജത്തിന്റെ ദാതാവായി ഊർധ്വമായി നില്ക്കുക.
