Sukta 1.35
याति देवः प्रवता यात्युद्वता याति शुभ्राभ्यां यजतो हरिभ्याम् । आ देवो याति सविता परावतोऽप विश्वा दुरिता बाधमानः ॥
yā́ti deváḥ právatā yā́ty udvátā yā́ti śubhrā́bhyāṁ yajató háribhyām | ā́ devó yā́ti savitā́ parāváto'pa víśvā duritā́ bā́dhamānaḥ ||
ദേവൻ ഇറക്കമുള്ള പാതയിലൂടെ പോകുന്നു; കയറ്റമുള്ള പാതയിലൂടെയും പോകുന്നു; യജ്ഞാർഹനായ അവൻ ശുഭ്രമായ, ഹരിതവർണ്ണമായ രണ്ടു അശ്വങ്ങളോടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. പരാവതത്തിൽ നിന്ന് സവിതൃ ദേവൻ വന്ന്, സർവ്വ ദുരിതങ്ങളെയും (വക്രത, ദുഃഖം, ദോഷം) അകറ്റിത്തള്ളുന്നു.
