त्रिरश्विना सिन्धुभिः सप्तमातृभिस्त्रय आहावास्त्रेधा हविष्कृतम् । तिस्रः पृथिवीरुपरि प्रवा दिवो नाकं रक्षेथे द्युभिरक्तुभिर्हितम् ॥
trír aśvinā síndhubhiḥ saptá-mātṛbhiḥ tráya āhā́vā́s tredhā́ havíṣ-kṛtám | tísraḥ pṛthivī́r upári pravā́ divó nā́kaṃ rakṣethe dyúbhir aktúbhir hitám ||
ഹേ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, ഏഴ് മാതാക്കളുള്ള നദികളോടുകൂടെ ത്രിവാരം മൂന്നു ആഹ്വാനങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ഹവിഷ് ത്രിധാ ക്രമത്തിൽ രൂപപ്പെടുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു പൃഥ്വികളെ കാക്കുന്നു; അവയുടെ മീതെയുള്ള ദ്യൗവിന്റെ ശിഖരത്തെയും—പ്രകാശമുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളും രാത്രികളും സ്ഥാപിച്ച—സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
