इन्द्रा याहि चित्रभानो सुता इमे त्वायवः । अण्वीभिस्तना पूतासः ॥

índrā́ yā́hi citrabhāno sutā́ imé tvāyávaḥ | áṇvībhiḥ tánā pūtā́saḥ ||

ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, വരിക—ഹേ ചിത്രഭാനു, അനേകം പ്രകാശങ്ങളുള്ള ജ്വലിക്കുന്നവനേ. ഈ സോമസുതികൾ നിനക്കായി; സൂക്ഷ്മ ചാലനികളാൽ സർവ്വാംഗമായി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട്, നിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പാനത്തിനായി സന്നദ്ധമാണ്.
