यदूवध्यमुदरस्यापवाति य आमस्य क्रविषो गन्धो अस्ति । सुकृता तच्छमितारः कृण्वन्तूत मेधं शृतपाकं पचन्तु ॥

Transliteration

yád ū́vadhyam udárasyā́pavāti yá ā́masya kravíṣo gandhó ásti | sukṛtā́ tác chamitā́raḥ kṛṇvantū́ta médhaṃ śṛtapā́kaṃ pacantu ||

Translation

ഉദരത്തിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന ഏതു ദുർഗന്ധശ്വാസവും, കച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ഏതു ഗന്ധവും ഉണ്ടായാലും—സുകൃതരായ ശമിതാർ അതിനെ സുസ്ഥിതമായി ശമിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ മേധത്തിന്റെ ഹവിസിനെ ശൃതപാകമായി—നന്നായി വേവിച്ചും പരിപക്വമാക്കിയുമ—പാകം ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
