यदश्वस्य क्रविषो मक्षिकाश यद्वा स्वरौ स्वधितौ रिप्तमस्ति । यद्धस्तयोः शमितुर्यन्नखेषु सर्वा ता ते अपि देवेष्वस्तु ॥
yád aśvásya kravíṣo mákṣikāśa yád vā svárau svádhitau riptám ásti | yád hástayōḥ śamitúr yán nakhéṣu sárvā tā́ te ápi devéṣv astu ||
അശ്വത്തിന്റെ ക്രവിഷ്—മാംസം—മേൽ ഈച്ചകളാൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന അശുദ്ധി എന്തായാലും, സ്വധിതി—കത്തി—മേൽ പുരണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തായാലും, ശമിതൃ—ക്രമീകരകൻ—ന്റെ കൈകളിൽ ഉള്ളതു എന്തായാലും, നഖങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ളതു എന്തായാലും—അവയെല്ലാം നിനക്കായി ദേവന്മാരിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ, അവരുടെ സ്വീകരണത്താൽ ശുദ്ധമാകട്ടെ.
