Sukta 1.131
आदित्ते अस्य वीर्यस्य चर्किरन्मदेषु वृषन्नुशिजो यदाविथ सखीयतो यदाविथ । चकर्थ कारमेभ्यः पृतनासु प्रवन्तवे । ते अन्यामन्यां नद्यं सनिष्णत श्रवस्यन्तः सनिष्णत ॥
ā́d ít te asyá vī́ryasya carkiran mádeṣu vṛṣann uśíjo yád ā́vitha sakhiyató yád ā́vitha | cákartha kārám ebhyaḥ pṛ́tanāsu prá-vantave | te anyā́m-anyā́m nádyam saniṣṇata śravasyántaḥ saniṣṇata ||
ഹേ വൃഷഭൻ (ഇന്ദ്രാ)! മദത്തിന്റെ ഉന്മാദങ്ങളിൽ അവർ നിന്റെ ഈ വീര്യം തീർച്ചയായും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു—നീ ഉത്സുകരായ ഉപാസകരെ സഹായിച്ചപ്പോൾ, നീ അവരെ സഖാക്കളായി സഹായിച്ചപ്പോൾ. യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങാൻ നീ അവർക്കായി പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ വഴി ഒരുക്കി; ശ്രവസ് (കീർത്തി) തേടി അവർ ജയിച്ചു—നദിയ്ക്കു പിന്നാലെ നദി അവർ ജയിച്ചു.
