आ वां रथं युवतिस्तिष्ठदत्र जुष्ट्वी नरा दुहिता सूर्यस्य । परि वामश्वा वपुषः पतंगा वयो वहन्त्वरुषा अभीके ॥
ā́ vāṁ ráthaṁ yuvatís tíṣṭhad átra juṣṭvī́ narā duhitā́ sū́ryasya | pári vā́m áśvā vápūṣaḥ pataṅgā́ váyo vahantv aruṣā́ abhī́ke ||
ഇവിടെ, ഹേ നരന്മാരേ, സൂര്യന്റെ ദുഹിതയായ യുവതി, നിങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത്, നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും, ഹേ അരുണവർണ്ണരേ, പ്രകാശമുള്ള ചിറകുള്ള അശ്വങ്ങൾ—സമീപസാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ—പ്രാണവായുവിനെയും ചലനത്തെയും വഹിക്കട്ടെ.
