Sukta 1.105
अहं सो अस्मि यः पुरा सुते वदामि कानि चित् । तं मा व्यन्त्याध्यो वृको न तृष्णजं मृगं वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी ॥
aháṃ só asmí yáḥ purā suté vádāmi kā́ni cit | táṃ mā vyanty ā́dhyo vṛ́ko ná tṛ́ṣṇajaṃ mṛgáṃ vittáṃ me asyá rodasī ||
ഞാൻ തന്നെയാണ്—മുമ്പ് സോമം പീഡിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ അനേകം വചനങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചവൻ; ഇപ്പോൾ ദാരിദ്ര്യം എന്നെ, വൃകം തൃഷ്ണാജ മൃഗത്തെ വേട്ടയാടുന്നതുപോലെ, പിന്തുടരുന്നു—ഹേ ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവീ, എന്റെ ഈ അന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ നിധി അറിയുക.
