मा नो वधीरिन्द्र मा परा दा मा नः प्रिया भोजनानि प्र मोषीः । आण्डा मा नो मघवञ्छक्र निर्भेन्मा नः पात्रा भेत्सहजानुषाणि ॥
mā́ no vadhīr indra mā́ parā́ dā mā́ naḥ priyā́ bhojanā́ni prá moṣīḥ | āṇḍā́ mā́ no maghavañ chakra nír bhet mā́ naḥ pā́trā bhet sahá-jānuṣāṇi ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങളെ വധിക്കരുതേ; ഞങ്ങളെ അകറ്റി തള്ളരുതേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയ പോഷണങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് കവർന്നെടുക്കരുതേ. ഹേ മഘവൻ ശക്രാ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ അണ്ഡാ—ഭവനത്തിന്റെ വിത്തുകളെ—ചിതറിക്കരുതേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹജാനുഷ—ജന്മസഹചാരിയായ ആധാരപാത്രങ്ങളെ—പൊട്ടിക്കരുതേ.
