प्र प॒दोऽव॑ नेनिग्धि॒ दुश्च॑रितं॒ यच्च॒चार॑ शु॒द्धैः श॒फैरा क्र॑मतां प्रजा॒नन्। ती॒र्त्वा तमां॑सि बहु॒धा वि॒पश्य॑न्न॒जो नाक॒मा क्र॑मतां तृ॒तीय॑म्

prá padó ’vá nenigdhi duścaritáṃ yác cacā́ra śuddháir śapháir ā́ kramatāṃ prajānán | tīrtvā́ támāṃsi bahudhā́ vipáśyann ajó nā́kam ā́ kramatāṃ tṛtī́yam

From the footstep wipe thou off, cast down, the evil deed—whatsoever hath been practised; with pure hoofs let him step on, as one that knoweth. Having crossed the darknesses, manifold, beholding clearly, let the Goat step upward to the third heaven.

പാദമുദ്രയിൽ നിന്നു ദുഷ്കൃത്യം—എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ—തുടച്ച് താഴെയാക്കി നീക്കുക. ശുദ്ധമായ കുളമ്പുകളോടെ അവൻ അറിവുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെ പടിയേറട്ടെ. പലവിധ ഇരുട്ടുകളെ കടന്ന്, വ്യക്തമായി കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട്, അജ (ആട്) മൂന്നാം സ്വർഗ്ഗമായ നാകത്തിലേക്ക് മേലോട്ടു കയറട്ടെ.
