दे॒वो दे॒वेषु॑ दे॒वः प॒थो अ॑नक्ति॒ मध्वा॑ घृ॒तेन॑

devó devéṣu deváḥ pathó anakti mádhvā ghṛténa

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The god, a god among the gods, anoints the paths with sweetness, with ghee.

Translation

ദേവന്മാരിൽ ദേവനായ ആ ദേവൻ മധുവാലും ഘൃതത്താലും പഥങ്ങളെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യുന്നു (മധുരവും ശുഭവും ആക്കുന്നു).
