नास्य॑ धे॒नुः क॑ल्या॒णी नान॒ड्वान्त्स॑हते॒ धुर॑म्। विजा॑नि॒र्यत्र॑ ब्रह्म॒णो रात्रिं॒ वस॑ति पा॒पया॑

IAST Transliteration

nā́sya dhenúḥ kalyāṇī́ nā́naḍvā́n sahate dhúram | vijā́nir yátra brahmáṇo rā́triṃ vásati pā́payā

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

No thriving milch-cow is his; no draught-ox bears the yoke—where discord is, and where the Brahman passes the night in evil wise.

Translation

അവനു കല്യാണകരമായ പാല്പശു ഇല്ല; കാളയും നുകം (ധുര) സഹിക്കുകയില്ല—എവിടെ വൈരോധ്യം/വിജാനിർ ഉണ്ടോ, അവിടെ; എവിടെ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പാപവിധത്തിൽ രാത്രി വസിക്കുകയോ കഴിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ അവിടെ।
