Sukta 14
इष्वा॒ ऋजी॑यः पततु॒ द्यावा॑पृथिवी॒ तं प्रति॑ । सा तं मृ॒गमि॑व गृह्णतु कृ॒त्या कृ॑त्या॒कृतं॒ पुनः॑
iṣvā́ ṛ́jīyaḥ patatu dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ taṁ práti | sā́ taṁ mṛgámiva gṛhṇatu kṛtyā́ kṛtyā-kṛtáṁ púnaḥ ||
As an arrow, straighter yet, let it fly—Heaven and Earth against that man. Let her seize him as a beast is seized: the Kṛtyā, back again, the doer of the Kṛtyā.
അമ്പിനേക്കാളും കൂടുതൽ നേരെയായി അത് പറക്കട്ടെ—ആ മനുഷ്യനോടു വിരോധമായി ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവീ. മൃഗത്തെ പിടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവൾ അവനെ പിടിക്കട്ടെ: കൃത്യാ—കൃത്യാകൃതന്റെ മേലേക്ക് വീണ്ടും മടങ്ങിവരട്ടെ.
