Sukta 11
स॒ह॒स्रा॒क्षेण॑ श॒तवी॑र्येण श॒तायु॑षा ह॒विषाहा॑र्षमेनम्। इन्द्रो॒ यथै॑नं श॒रदो॒ नया॒त्यति॒ विश्व॑स्य दुरि॒तस्य॑ पा॒रम्
sahasrākṣéṇa śatá-vīryeṇa śatā́yuṣā havíṣā́ hárṣam enam | índro yáthainaṃ śarádo nayā́ty áti víśvasya duritásya pā́ram ||
With thousand-eyed power, with hundredfold might, with hundredfold life—by oblation I cheer him. So may Indra lead him through the autumns, across unto the farther shore of every ill.
സഹസ്രാക്ഷ (ആയിരം കണ്ണുകളുള്ള) ശക്തിയാൽ, ശതവീര്യ (നൂറിരട്ടി വീര്യം) കൊണ്ട്, ശതായുഷ് (നൂറിരട്ടി ആയുസ്സ്) കൊണ്ട്—ഹവിഷ് വഴി ഞാൻ അവനെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ച് ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ഇന്ദ്രൻ അവനെ ശരദുകൾ കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി, എല്ലാ ദുരിതങ്ങളുടെയും (അപശകുന/അപകാരം) അപ്പുറത്തുള്ള തീരത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കട്ടെ.
