सर्वं सलिलमेवासीत्पृथिवी यत्र निर्मिता।तत: स‌मभवद्ब्रह्मा स्वयम्भूर्दैवतै: स‌ह।।।।

នៅដើមកាល សព្វអ្វីទាំងអស់មានតែទឹកប៉ុណ្ណោះ; ពីទឹកនោះផែនដីត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើង។ បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះព្រហ្មា «ស្វយម្ភូ» អ្នកកើតឡើងដោយខ្លួនឯង ក៏បានបង្ហាញព្រះអង្គជាមួយទេវតាទាំងឡាយ។
