This hymn invites the Rbhus—Vāja and Ṛbhukṣaṇa foremost—divine craftsmen who renew and perfect the rite, to come by the “godward paths” and re-establish the sacrifice among human clans. It asks them to bring rayi (plenitude, wealth, spiritual abundance) and victorious vāja (winning force), linking their aid with Indra’s might and the Aśvins’ swift help. The overall purpose is ritual renewal: to make the yajña run smoothly, delightfully, and fruitfully through auspicious days.

उप नो वाजा अध्वरमृभुक्षा देवा यात पथिभिर्देवयानैः । यथा यज्ञं मनुषो विक्ष्वासु दधिध्वे रण्वाः सुदिनेष्वह्नाम् ॥
हमारी यज्ञ के पास आओ, वाज और रिभुक्षण, तुम जो देवता हो। देवताओं के रास्ते चल के आओ। जैसे तुमने मनुष्यों में यज्ञ शुरू किया था, वैसे ही हमारे अच्छे दिनों में फिर से यज्ञ बना दो।

ते वो हृदे मनसे सन्तु यज्ञा जुष्टासो अद्य घृतनिर्णिजो गुः । प्र वः सुतासो हरयन्त पूर्णाः क्रत्वे दक्षाय हर्षयन्त पीताः ॥
यह सब सामग्री तुम्हारे दिल और दिमाग में बस जाए, आज यह स्वीकार हो, घी की तरह चमक रही है। सोम रस भर के बह रहा है, तुम्हारी इच्छा और समझ के लिए, पी के अंदर की ताकत खुश हो जाती है।

त्र्युदायं देवहितं यथा वः स्तोमो वाजा ऋभुक्षणो ददे वः । जुह्वे मनुष्वदुपरासु विक्षु युष्मे सचा बृहद्दिवेषु सोमम् ॥
पुराने ज़माने से तीन बार उठाया गया यह स्तोत्र देवताओं के लिए है। वाज और रिभुक्षण, यह तुम्हे दिया गया है। मैं सोम की बंटी करता हूँ जैसे लोग करते हैं, बड़े गाँव में। तुम्हारे साथ, बड़े आसमान के दिन में।

पीवोअश्वाः शुचद्रथा हि भूतायःशिप्रा वाजिनः सुनिष्काः । इन्द्रस्य सूनो शवसो नपातोऽनु वश्चेत्यग्रियं मदाय ॥
तुम्हारे पास अच्छे घोड़े हैं और चमकती हुई गाड़ी। तुम लोहे की जैसी ताकत वाले हो और इनाम जीत के लाते हो। इंद्र की ताकत के बेटे, तुम शक्ति के वंशज हो। सबसे आगे खुशी तुम्हारे पीछे चले आए।

ऋभुमृभुक्षणो रयिं वाजे वाजिन्तमं युजम् । इन्द्रस्वन्तं हवामहे सदासातममश्विनम् ॥
हम रिभु और रिभुक्षण को बुलाते हैं। यह जीत की ताकत लाते हैं और साथ में चलते हैं। इंद्र की शक्ति से भरे हुए, हमेशा जीतने वाले, अश्विन जैसा सहायक है जिसे हम बुलाते हैं।

सेदृभवो यमवथ यूयमिन्द्रश्च मर्त्यम् । स धीभिरस्तु सनिता मेधसाता सो अर्वता ॥
जिसे तुम रिभु और इंद्र भी बचाते हो इंसानों में, वो अपनी समझ से जीतने वाला बनता है। वो ज्ञान की रोशनी पाता है और ताकत के साथ सफल होता है।

वि नो वाजा ऋभुक्षणः पथश्चितन यष्टवे । अस्मभ्यं सूरयः स्तुता विश्वा आशास्तरीषणि ॥
वाज और रिभुक्षण, हमारे लिए रास्ते खोलो। हम यज्ञ के लिए जाना चाहते हैं। सूर देवता, तुम्हारी हम तारीफ करते हैं। हमें हर दिशा में उम्मीद और संभावनाओं से पार ले जाओ।

तं नो वाजा ऋभुक्षण इन्द्र नासत्या रयिम् । समश्वं चर्षणिभ्य आ पुरु शस्त मघत्तये ॥
यह मंत्र इंद्र और उनके साथी देवताओं को पुकारता है। वो कहते हैं, हमे धन और शक्ति दो। जो शक्ति तुम लोग देते हो, वो लोगों का भला करती है। इसकी बड़ाई करो ताकि वो देनेवाली ताकत और बढ़ जाए।
