Atri ne Indra ko pukara aur unse ashirwad mangi. Indra ji, aap apni shakti aur daulat hum par baha dijiye. Aapka dene ka irada bahut mashhoor hai. Aap kade ko bhi naram kar sakte hain. Hum Atri log apni puja aur stuti aapko samarpit karte hain. Hamari baat ko tej aur chamakdar banaiye.

Mantra 1
यदिन्द्र चित्र मेहनास्ति त्वादातमद्रिवः । राधस्तन्नो विदद्वस उभयाहस्त्या भर ॥
Hey Indra, jo bhi chamakdaar khazaana tumhare paas hai, woh hume do. Tum dono haath bhar ke laao. Jo bhi tum de sakte ho, woh poora humpe barsa do.
Mantra 2
यन्मन्यसे वरेण्यमिन्द्र द्युक्षं तदा भर । विद्याम तस्य ते वयमकूपारस्य दावने ॥
Jo bhi cheez tum sabse behtar samjhte ho, woh chamakdar cheez hume laao. Tumhari den wahi khatam nahi hoti. Hum bhi usmein hissa lein.

यत्ते दित्सु प्रराध्यं मनो अस्ति श्रुतं बृहत् । तेन दृळ्हा चिदद्रिव आ वाजं दर्षि सातये ॥
Tumhari ichcha mein jo bada bal hai, usse tum pakki cheezein bhi tod kar laate ho. Jo bhi hume chahiye, woh jeet kar hume deta hai.

मंहिष्ठं वो मघोनां राजानं चर्षणीनाम् । इन्द्रमुप प्रशस्तये पूर्वीभिर्जुजुषे गिरः ॥
Indra sabse zyada dene wala hai. Woh logon ka raja hai. Hum uski tarif ke liye paas aate hain. Woh purani baaton se khush hota hai aur rishiyon ki baatein sunta hai.

अस्मा इत्काव्यं वच उक्थमिन्द्राय शंस्यम् । तस्मा उ ब्रह्मवाहसे गिरो वर्धन्त्यत्रयो गिरः शुम्भन्त्यत्रयः ॥
Yeh rishi ka gaana Indra ke liye hai. Atri rishi ki baatein badi hoti hain aur chamak uthati hain. Humari baatein bhi taqatdar ban jaati hain.
