इमं विधन्तो अपां सधस्थे द्वितादधुर्भृगवो विक्ष्वायोः । एष विश्वान्यभ्यस्तु भूमा देवानामग्निररतिर्जीराश्वः ॥

Transliteration

imáṃ vidhánto apā́ṃ sadhásthe dvitā́ dadhur bhṛ́gavo vikṣv āyóḥ | eṣá víśvāny abhy àstu bhū́mā devā́nām agnír aratír jīrā́śvaḥ ||

Translation

આ અગ્નિને વિધિ કરનારોએ જળોના સામાન્ય આસનમાં સ્થાપ્યો; ભૃગુઓએ તેને ફરી જીવતા લોકોની પ્રજાઓમાં સ્થિર કર્યો. સર્વ જીવો માટે આ અગ્નિ—ઝડપથી ગતિ કરનાર, ઝડપી અશ્વોવાળો—વિસ્તૃત ભૂમિ સમ આધાર બને; દેવતાઓ માટે આધાર અને આશ્રય બને.
