यो अग्निः सप्तमानुषः श्रितो विश्वेषु सिन्धुषु । तमागन्म त्रिपस्त्यं मन्धातुर्दस्युहन्तममग्निं यज्ञेषु पूर्व्यं नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥

Transliteration

yó agníḥ saptá-mānuṣaḥ śritó víśveṣu síndhuṣu | tám ā́ aganma tri-pástyaṃ mandhātúr dasyuhán-tamam agním yajñéṣu pū́rvyaṃ nabhantām anyaké samé ||

Translation

Cet Agni, septuplement humain, établi dans tous les courants — vers lui nous sommes venus : vers le Trois-foyer, l’Agni de Mandhātṛ, le plus grand pourfendeur des Dasyu, l’Agni ancien dans les sacrifices. Que les puissances hostiles soient chassées ailleurs, loin de nous.
