Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Car nous, sans autre appui, nous nous attachons à toi comme à celui qui est plein de liens véritables ; ô Indra, nous, voyants, nous nous cramponnons à toi. Ô Taureau de puissance, viens avec toutes tes demeures et tes forces, pour la boisson du Soma ; entre de tout ton être dans notre offrande et notre montée.
