Sukta 2.13
अन्वेको वदति यद्ददाति तद्रूपा मिनन्तदपा एक ईयते । विश्वा एकस्य विनुदस्तितिक्षते यस्ताकृणोः प्रथमं सास्युक्थ्यः ॥
anvéko vadati yád dadā́ti tád rūpā́ minán tád-apā́ eka īyate | viśvā́ ékasya vi-núdas titikṣate yás tā́kṛṇoḥ prathamáṃ sá āsy ukthyáḥ ||
Uno sigue y declara lo que da; y, sin embargo, altera las formas de ese don. Uno solo avanza, como las aguas mismas. Todos los rechazos y todos los embates contra el Uno los soporta y los resiste — aquel que primero dio forma a esos poderes; él, en verdad, es el digno asunto del himno.
