Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Denn wir, ohne andere Stützen, halten uns an dich als an den, der voller wahrer Bande ist; o Indra, wir Seher hängen an dir. O Stier der Kraft, komm mit all deinen Wohnsitzen und Mächten zum Trunk des Soma; tritt mit deinem ganzen Wesen in unser Opfer und unser Emporsteigen ein.
