Sukta 7.52
मित्रस्तन्नो वरुणो मामहन्त शर्म तोकाय तनयाय गोपाः । मा वो भुजेमान्यजातमेनो मा तत्कर्म वसवो यच्चयध्वे ॥
mitrás tán no váruṇo māmahanta śárma tokā́ya tánayāya gopā́ḥ | mā́ vo bhujemā́nyajātam éno mā́ tát karma vásavo yác cáyadhve ||
Mögen Mitra und Varuṇa uns mächtig mehren ein Obdach — als Hüter unseres Kindes und unserer Nachkommenschaft. Mögen wir nicht leiden für eine Schuld, die von einem andern geboren ist; und, o Vasus, legt uns nicht jene Tat auf, die ihr (als Folge) zurücklegt.
