पावकशोचे तव हि क्षयं परि होतर्यज्ञेषु वृक्तबर्हिषो नरः । अग्ने दुव इच्छमानास आप्यमुपासते द्रविणं धेहि तेभ्यः ॥

Transliteration

pā́vaka-śoce táva hí kṣáyaṃ pári hótar yajñéṣu vṛktá-barhiṣo nárāḥ | agne dúva icchámānāsa ā́pyam upā́sate dráviṇaṃ dhehi tébhyaḥ ||

Translation

O Pāvaka, reinigende Flamme: Um deine Wohnstatt, o Hotar, scharen sich bei den Opfern die Männer mit bereitetem Barhis. Agni, nach Dienst und innerstem Heim verlangend, sitzen sie in Verehrung nahe bei dir; lege ihnen den Schatz, die Gabe, in sie hinein.
