Sukta 3.2
पावकशोचे तव हि क्षयं परि होतर्यज्ञेषु वृक्तबर्हिषो नरः । अग्ने दुव इच्छमानास आप्यमुपासते द्रविणं धेहि तेभ्यः ॥
pā́vaka-śoce táva hí kṣáyaṃ pári hótar yajñéṣu vṛktá-barhiṣo nárāḥ | agne dúva icchámānāsa ā́pyam upā́sate dráviṇaṃ dhehi tébhyaḥ ||
ಹೇ ಪಾವಕಶೋಚೇ (ಶುದ್ಧಿಕರ ಜ್ವಾಲೆ) ಅಗ್ನಿ! ಹೇ ಹೋತರ್! ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ಬರ್ಹಿಷ್ (ಯಜ್ಞಾಸನ) ಹೊಂದಿದ ನರರು ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ಷಯ (ನಿವಾಸ/ಧಾಮ)ದ ಸುತ್ತ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸೇವೆ (ದುವಃ) ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರಂಗ ಪೂರ್ಣತೆ (ಆಪ್ಯ) ಬಯಸುವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪ ಉಪಾಸನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಧನ (ದ್ರವಿಣ)ವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು.
