स हव्यवाळमर्त्य उशिग्दूतश्चनोहितः । अग्निर्धिया समृण्वति ॥
sá havya-vā́ḷ amártya uśíg dūtáś canóhitaḥ | agnír dhiyā́ sám ṛṇvati ||
Er ist der Havyavāḷ, der unsterbliche Träger der Opfergabe, die eifrige Flamme (Uśig), der Bote, zu unserem Heil bestellt; Agni bringt durch die Dhī die Kräfte in Einklang.
