आ ते रुचः पवमानस्य सोम योषेव यन्ति सुदुघाः सुधाराः । हरिरानीतः पुरुवारो अप्स्वचिक्रदत्कलशे देवयूनाम् ॥
Transliteration
ā́ te rúcaḥ pávamānasya soma yóṣeva yanti su-dúghāḥ su-dhārā́ḥ | hárir ā́nītaḥ puru-vā́ro apsv ácikradat kalaśé deva-yūnā́m ||
Translation
إليك، يا سوما في التطهير، تأتي أنوارك كنساءٍ حَسَناتِ الحلب، غزيراتِ الجداول الطيّبة. ذلك الأشقرُ المُقادُ إلى الأمام، المرغوبُ كثيرًا، قد دوّى في المياه—في جرّةِ طالبي الآلهة.
