Sukta 9.85
अधि द्यामस्थाद्वृषभो विचक्षणोऽरूरुचद्वि दिवो रोचना कविः । राजा पवित्रमत्येति रोरुवद्दिवः पीयूषं दुहते नृचक्षसः ॥
ádhi dyā́m asthād vṛṣabhó vi-cakṣaṇó ’rūrucad ví divó rocanā́ kavíḥ | rājā pavítram átyeti róruvad diváḥ pīyū́ṣaṃ duhate nṛ-cákṣasaḥ ||
الثورُ ذو القوّة، الكاڤي واسعُ البصيرة، قد اتّخذ مقامَه فوقَ دْياو (السماء) فأشعل أنوارَ السماء المتلألئة. الملكُ يجتازُ الـپَڤِتْرَة (المِصفاة) بصيحةٍ مدوّية؛ والريشيّون ذوو بصرِ الإنسان يستدرّون أَمْرِتَا—رحيقَ دْياو.
