Transliteration
āt sóma indriyò raso vájraḥ sahasrasā́ bhuvat | uktháṃ yád asya jā́yate ||
Translation
من هذا السُّوما تنهضُ قوّةُ إندرا؛ ونشوتُه/عصارتُه (rasa) تصيرُ فَجْرَةَ الصاعقةِ (vajra) ذاتَ ألفِ قوّة—كلّما وُلِدَ منه فينا الأُكثا (uktha)، كلامُ المديح.
