यस्ते मदः पृतनाषाळमृध्र इन्द्र तं न आ भर शूशुवांसम् । येन तोकस्य तनयस्य सातौ मंसीमहि जिगीवांसस्त्वोताः ॥

yás te mádaḥ pṛtanāṣā́ḷ amṛ́dhra índra táṃ na ā́ bhara śūśuvā́ṃsam | yéna tokásya tánayasya sātáu maṃsī́mahi jigīvā́ṃsas tvāūtā́ḥ ||

يا إندرا، هاتِ لنا ذلك المَدَا (mada: نشوةُ القوّة) الذي لا يَخْطَئ، القاهرَ للمعارك—ذلك الأوارَ الذي اشتدَّ. به نبتغي أن نظفرَ بغنيمةِ الطفل وببقاءِ النَّسْل؛ وبحمايتك نثبتُ أبدًا ظافرين.
