Rig Veda 5.29.3: Mandala 5, Sukta 29, Mantra 3

Sukta 5.29

Rishi: Atri (Ātreya tradition) — attribution for RV 5.29 (check śākhā-specific anukramaṇī for precision)
Devata: Indra (with Maruts as supporting powers)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (dominant meter of Indra-victory hymns in this section)

uta brahmāṇo maruto me asyendraḥ somasya suṣutasya peyāḥ | taddhi havyaṃ manuṣe gā avindad ahann ahiṃ papivāṃ indro asya ||
